Re: You Tube
OK. Seem to work fine. Although, my speakers are on the fritz and I cannot hear it. But I assume audio is no problem.
Dial up users, is this going to be problematic for you? Can you block it, or does it even slow you down, since its not playing upon page load?
Let's see how this works. If it gets to become a problem I'll address the issue later. If not, hope it makes the place a bit more fun.

Seems OK to me.

Yup, groozytastic here aswell.
Look, I'm not much good at big speeches, and I know I haven't always been an easy guy to get on with, and I know, that given the choice, I wouldn't have chosen you as friends, but I just want to say, that over the years, I have come to regard you as people I met.

Re: You Tube
awesome!
as a comment on the video... I appreciate people who speak like this... they're more concerned with finding the perfect word to express their thoughts than simply seeming like they have a speech perfectly memorized and at top of mind, so they're willing to pause and search for that word instead of rambling or inserting filler.
it speaks to his writing as well, and why it took him years to write his masterpieces, instead of a 3-day hiked out rambling onslaught of inconsistent nonsense.

Re: You Tube
One of my other boards has this and I thought it would be a pain, but it really isn't. Takes awhile for it to do its initial downloading, but it's not unbearable.

define "unbearable".
firefox noscript can block it no problem.
I have no idea how long it would take to load
the video, and won't find out.

Are you sure? Its Frank Herbert speaking during an interview. I'm sure you've seen it already, but it is interesting.SandRider wrote:define "unbearable".

Not as bad as some animated gifs.
You could also set adblock plus to block youtube on this site, I think.
