Has anyone seen this movie yet. Me and Eyes went to see it a few days ago and It was pretty good. Not quite as good as the first one but it had what I thought was interesting story. The bad guy was not what you would call evil just kind of misguided.
Alot more of what you could call the underworld of trolls and such was revieled in this one. And I think maybe an openeing was left for a third one.

Watched the first one and thought it was okay, but not great. It was a well made film with really fantastic effects, a tribute to the skill of Guillermo Del Toro. I do appreciate Del Toro's skill with effects, especially the way he has combined really impressive makeup effects and CGI into a cohesive production. Much like Christopher Nolan or Peter Jackson, Del Toro has a great eye for combining effects techniques to achieve the most real looking result on screen.

I have two young kids and I work a whole lot. I dont get much time to see movies in the theater that don't have a giant purple dinosaur in them.SpacemanSpiff wrote:Nothing like the big screen dude!

Look, I'm not much good at big speeches, and I know I haven't always been an easy guy to get on with, and I know, that given the choice, I wouldn't have chosen you as friends, but I just want to say, that over the years, I have come to regard you as people I met.
