Re: 2012 Movies
Well Jesse took me to see Brave last week. I liked it. Not what I was expecting but still very good for an animated movie.
This past Wednesday he took me to see Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman. They had made it to the discount theater so we were able to see both for less cost than one regular showing. Made for a long day but was fun.
However, Prometheus sucked! Sorry for my language but it over did it with the 3D and like Chig or someone else said, it raised more questions than it answered. I think it totally screwed up the story line of the Alien franchise.
Snow White on the other-hand was not in 3D and it was better over all in my opinion. It did not rely heavily on the romance story but instead on the Queen's quest for power and Snow White flight from harm and then her charge to reclaim her throne. Stewart's acting was a little stiff but passable. The fighting/action was nice. And the special effects were wonderful. Definitely not your children's story of Snow White.
Was planning on trying to see Abe Lincoln-Vampire Hunter but my knee put a kibosh on that idea. If it's still at the discount theater next week maybe, if not I just have to catch it on DVD, but from the trailer I saw, not for sure if I'll like that one. Trying to reserve judgement until I actually see it.

If it's anything like Abe vs Zombies then it'll be... well I wasn't sure what I thought of that movie...
I deleted some of your posts because they were derailing the topic and not focusing on the issues asked, and instead going after the authors or their material. That's why. ~ BM

Dredd and Looper look great (although the Dredd trailer is really awkwardly edited)
And that, children, is how the little bunny rabbit got his fluffy white tail.
