Have you read the Tiptree biography yet, L-K? It is really good. She had a wild life. lots of adventure and intrigue.

Foundation's Edge - Legal Review
http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/0553293389.02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg Isaac Asimov did just about everything else in his long and varied career, so I suppose it was just a matter of time before I stumbled across a legal issue in his SF works. I had read his Hugo Award winning novel Foundation’s Edge year...

Its very cute. Comical SF that really is funny is pretty hard to come by. Adams was really good at it. There were not many before him who were that funny, (Tenn, Sheckley, a few others) and most of those guys relied on situational humor. Adams poked fun really well at SF's themes, which was pretty o...

I though Outlander was that Sean Connery SF film from the 70's about a mining company on one of the moons of Saturn that was trying to boost production by giving the miners illegal drugs that sped them up. Note to the geniuses making these commercials for new shows: you might grab my interest if you give me some idea of the actual premise ! Anyway, if it's on Sundays maybe I'll give ...
