Seen this one years ago. Badmovies.org is kinda lame, IMO. Though I suppose it's not just them that should be singled out, but all these "Worst Of" websites and organizations that catalog trash popular culture. Other than a good laugh, why should we care about the crap? Isn't it supposed to be forgettable? Isn't that why it's so lousy?
There's just so much good stuff out there that people won't listen, watch or read, I guess it just kinda strikes me as wasteful to spend so much time and energy covering films that don't deserve coverage. But I guess everyone needs a hobby

"What are we to call him, this Player of Games?"
"The books of Kevin J Anderson and Brian Herbert lie in a realm of uncertainty between self-conscious absurdity and genuine failure"

in the comments, the author of the article says he really kinda liked the movie, but if he wasn't mean, it wouldn't be funny, would it ?
I thought it was funny, and made some decent points. '84 Dune is a pretty easy target for satire, tho.
Bad movie ? 1972 - "Blood Freak"
7-foot tall English-as-Second-Language drifter-biker gets caught up with hippie chicks smoking "stuff", bible-thumping Jesus-freaks; takes a job at a poulty farm, gets talked into an 'experiment' to test new turkey meat - the combination of the "stuff" and the chemicals in the turkey turn him into a blood thirsty (yet still sexy) moster with a turkey head; hunts down and kills the 'pushers'. Not even funny on acid.

Look, I'm not much good at big speeches, and I know I haven't always been an easy guy to get on with, and I know, that given the choice, I wouldn't have chosen you as friends, but I just want to say, that over the years, I have come to regard you as people I met.
