I've practically memorized the series anyway :)

Damn, April is going to be a great month. BSG season 4 premires and Macross Frontier starts, both in April. Bring on the sci-fi! :)

Macross isn't broadcast on television in North America. Besides, who even watches television anymore? The net man! Get with the decade :)

If you must have a zero brainpower, don't-make-it-difficult-for-me-to-watch-or-my-instant-gratificatiion-complex-will-force-me-to-quit-long-before-I-can-get-through-the-process, then you can see virtually everything Macross by going to Veoh, the internet television website. They have all of the Macross franchise there, from the original SDF Macross in subtitles to the latest fan subtitles of Macross Frontier. Veoh has a simple, user-friendly browser program that takes about a minute to install and you can watch everything.

You can rent Robotech episodes at Blockbuster, it's not the same, but close. You can get the DVDs online too: http://www.robotech.com/infopedia/intro/dvds/

I'm sure someone else has a link to where you can get Macross movies.

Robotech is evil. Thou shalt not watch it. :) :D

The original Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Macross Plus (both 4 episode OVA and the Movie) and Macross II are all available on officially released Region 1 DVDs here in North America. You can actually obtain SDF Macross in either Animeigo's remastered DVD set (ironically, sold on Robotech.com) for $40. Alternatively, ADV has also released a set (with a english dub, but dubs are evil too). The Animeigo set has the best sound and picture quality of the original series.

ADV's SDF Macross Set

Macross Plus and Macross II can be purchased on DVD anywhere.
Macross Plus on Amazon.com
Macross II on Amazon.com

The rest of Macross is not available in North America. But like I said, Veoh has it all; Macross Do You Remember Love? movie, Flashback 2012 video, Macross 7 television series and OVA, Macross Zero OVA and the first and only episode released thus far of Macross Frontier. Just head over there and you can watch everything at your leisure.
