I'll never be able to see that title without thinking of Rocky Horror.

I've read this one. A friend gave it to me for Christmas. It was a little dated, to read it in 2005 I mean. But it wasn't bad and the triffids were a much more plausible harbinger of the apocalypse than the silly zombie. Speaking of which, I really found that the film "28 Days Later" had a lot of the same feel as Wyndham's book. Perhaps I was just projecting unto "Day of the Triffids" but despite the difference in era, the two works felt alike in a good way.

Anyway, not a bad book and a very quick read.

I just found this one at work in the little library they have, (which also includes the Lazarus Effect, which I thought was pretty cool). Picked it up when my laptop was in for repairs and loved it. took it home to finish and couldn't put it down. awesome read.

I too picked this one up and could not put it down. Watched the miniseries a couple of weeks back and enjoyed that as well. Not as much as the book but at least it was relatively faithful to the book.

It was available on the free instant watch when I watched it. You may not have to wait on it to come in the mail....

Someday. Someday. I'm still getting over the shock of having to carry a mobile phone.
