Okie Dokie. Now there's three Lockes.
Something is about to happen, Hal. Something wonderful!

I almost got caught up in that shit last night -
for some reason, I stopped the spinning dial on the
recap show - I'd peeked at a few of the episodes last
year, enough to figure out Sawyer was trapped in the
70s - so I watched the recap and got the abridged
version

then fuck me if the new show didn't start and I sat there
for a good forty-five minutes watching it until reason and
sanity prevailed - and the DishTV autotuned to a preset
timer for Classic Tractors on RFDTV

I'm just not getting sucked into that show again,
even if this is the last season - ya'll just tell what it
was all about when it's over, that'll suffice for me ..

I'm enjoying this so far. I think it was a little odd that the smoke monster is shown all of a sudden to be intelligent; kind of jarring actually. I definitely do NOT like this alternate universe shit. Jack's going to heal Locke. Mapother is going to make sure that Aaron is fine. blah, blah, blah. That's all going to wind up too syrupy-sweet for me, Im sure.

So, here's my prediction. All of those unaging characters, like Richard, Jacob, smoke monster, et al; they're aliens. They crash landed around the time of the beginnings of Egyptian civilization, taught the Egyptians how to stack rocks up in a triangle, then retired to the Island with some remnants of Egyptian culture with them, and started playing games with each other. That is what smokey/Locke meant when he said that he wanted to "go home." The Others are either the descendants of the Egyptians mixed with the crew of the Black Pearl and the French, and a few others, or they are the minions of whats-his-name, the rich guy.

The time machine is an alien device.

That's my call.
Something is about to happen, Hal. Something wonderful!
