I think you came across many Dune references in computer games. You could share your knowledge here.
I'll start with latest game I'm currently playing - Diablo 3.
On Desolate Sands location you could find Stilgar's body. When you click on it, Worms arrive - sometimes 6 at a time, sometimes 1 or 2 in waves.
There are also several creatures with "Dune" in their species names and several kind of worms, which attack from under the ground and then burrow again before you hit them.
I found also info about rare event with those Worms in other location:
Update - I found Shaitan today on the same location as Stilgar. When you finally kill it, there is portal to new level with lots of good stuff

Re: Dune references in computer games
Dang that reminds me I heard one in Destiny , you activate some ruins and it says "a million death are not enough for [creature name]". I can't record it I don't have the hardware for my Xbox, but I'll see if someone did that already.
EDIT TO ADD (is the html working for you?)
I listened to it a number of times, I couldn't believe my ears at first.
EDIT: YouTube link fixed (ZEUHL)

In short, the Jihad is over. It ended just as SandRider predicted it would, not with a bang or even a whimper, by simple attrition.
