Here's a video of comedian John Hodgman (the PC guy from those Mac commercials) giving a short talk at a
TED conference (Technology, Entertainment, Design). It's all about aliens, flying saucers, lost time, the Fermi paradox, and he also makes reference to several sf books and movies, including Dune.

I love him.. he's the resident expert on The Daily Show. I read one of his books last year called The Areas of My Expertise, it was pretty funny.

He's so good you actually feel sympathy towards pc's, Apple should of made him the Mac instead of the other guy.
