Very nice review. I was actually unaware of the controversy with the World Fantasy Award until reading your review, but I can't say that I was at all surprised. Nonetheless, it's good to hear another voice in support for works like Watchmen. As a fan of several generally derided artforms (comic books, anime) it's always nice to see more recognition for the truly deserving accomplishments of those artforms.
