See here.

Okay, so the hacking isn't, but the "... the manifesto that the Lexicon recently put up, which pretty much took away posters’ freedom to share their true opinions on the book..." certainly does.

21st Century marketing - it's not the product that's shite, it's the consumers who are wrong...

EXCELLENT catch, Tanz! That "Manifesto" cries out for a parody rewrite in Dune(Novels) terms!

(And true, while none of us have hacked the DN site, there were accusations being bandied about by certain cretins during that site's rather long downtime earlier this year...which eventually turned out to be the result of the webmaster's ineptitude. )

I guess this shows that the idiocy some of us thought unique to the HLP is not so unusual after all.

Sorry to double post, but...OH GOD!
5. Kevin J. Anderson is a member of the Co$, aka the Church of $cientology. One of the many values that the church expoUses is the value of family. There is nothing wrong with valuing children, especially young boys. Kevin is not trying to ram Co$ values—or anything else much less rigid—down anyone’s throat. If he were, his characters wouldn’t swear, wear tight shorts, or touch themselves while breathing heavily. Like every author, parts of his life influence his writing, and a part of his life is his religion. C.S. Lewis and Tolkein’s Catholic values are evident in their work. Phillip Pullman’s atheism is evident in his. By no means are they trying to indoctrinate you any more than Kevin is. Simply when religion or the lack thereof is a significant part of someone’s life it will affect their work, and that is not per say a bad thing. It gives you something to look at and think about. Accept it or reject it as is your choice.
