Eugene, Oregon

Post by Omphalos »

Does anyone live near here? I'm planning a trip to Eugene shortly to raid the Lurton Blassingame papers at the University library there. I have no date yet, but it shouldn't be too long now. According to the archives there is a ton of correspondence between Blassingame and FH. Here's the archive list:

Anyone live nearby want to assist?
Something is about to happen, Hal. Something wonderful!

It's amazing to me that places preserve stuff like this... it just seems so odd to me. Cool, but odd.
I deleted some of your posts because they were derailing the topic and not focusing on the issues asked, and instead going after the authors or their material. That's why. ~ BM

No, what's odd is the people who don't do it.

(And I hope there's a special hell for all eleven of them. )

I used to know someone who lived in Eugene, but that was a long time ago.
