Better Off Ted

Post by Omphalos »

Ive been seeing a ton of ads for this thing, and to tell the truth it looks kind of stupid. Here is a favorable sounding write up. Its from i09, which is not my favorite SF blog.

I saw a commercial for this the other night, but can't remember a damn thing about it.

But then, I have little to no interest in sci-fi comedy.

Read it, watched the trailer.

I wasn't immediately turned off by it, so I'd watch the pilot and decide.

(What was that quasi-comedy about the research town ... Eureka? They showed a season or two of that on SciFi Japan. I watched it when there wasn't anything else interesting on; it wasn't horribly objectionable. Or any more so than, say, Enterprise or Stargate. More fun than Jericho. ... None of which were intended as comedies, I know. ;) )

I watched one episode of Eureka because it had the Brother From Another Planet in it, but never got into it.

It's kinda funny. I like the idea and I love the fictional commercial :)
Maybe I'll check it out if I remember, but it'll have to be online.
