1/3 more Waterworld

Post by Omphalos »

YES! Perhaps now the genius shall show through!

Honestly, I liked this one alright too. A bit stupid, but following the travesty that was The Postman, it was a regular Lawrence of Arabia.
Something is about to happen, Hal. Something wonderful!

I enjoyed Waterworld! Dennis Hooper was the cheesemeister!

Maybe you're right. At least I watched all of Waterworld; I couldn't even make it through Postman.

Costner's sci-fi films are the KJA of bad movie making. In fact, I thought Waterworld and The Postman were written by someone like KJA when I saw them :)

The Postman never drank his own urine.

Now airing on Discovery Channel:

I'm BARE GRIMES and I've just parachuted completely naked into the heart of the Serengeti, where I will be forced to survive until I can find my way back to civilization using only my WITS and this trusty SWISS ARMY KNIFE! If necessary, I WILL DRINK MY OWN URINE AND EAT MY OWN SHIT...something I can do without fear because I'M A REAL MAN, a former ROYAL MARINE and DAMNED TOUGH besides, DAMMIT!

But really...in my heart of hearts, what I've always wanted to be is...a lumberjack! Oh....
:D

I love that show and it almost killed me and two friends last summer during a Bear Grylls camping expedition in Northern MN. We made it out a few pounds lighter.

:o

Whoa.

So...what's piss taste like, then? ;)

(I both love and hate the show. Seems like he always chooses the most ridiculous and dangerous path available (all the while saying, "You wouldn't want to do it this way," or telling you about how some hapless fool died last summer in Yellowstone trying the same thing, etc. etc.), NEVER misses an opportunity to CRAWL through mud or to strip down and git nekkid with Mama Natura. )

Drinking urine will kill you faster than if you had no water at all because of the salt.

You can make a "dew collector" out of a sheet of plastic and a rock to collect water evaporated from your urine though.
They were destroyed because they lied pretentiously. Have no fear that my wrath
will fall upon you because of your innocent mistakes.
