Eick tells Sci Fi Wire [...] that the series will not be anything like the movie [...]
If that's true, then it's got one good thing going for it right from the start.

Yea. Ive heard more about it too. That sounds pretty stupid.

Did you see the link to the new The Day The Earth Stood Still, with surfer-boy FBI agent? Instead of cold war fears its going to be about global warming. :roll: :roll:

Still, that movie was one of the biggest bores I've seen in years.
