Revenge of the Fallen

Post by Rakis »

Saw Transfo2 this week-end...not bad, lots of action...Spoilers!

Cons : The two little autobots and that Leo guy who were all suppose to be comic relief, but they sucked big time...the story,meh....

Pros : Megan Fox  ...CGI are greats, but too much at the same time...That sinking aircraft carrier was WOW! Megan Fox  ...and that little female robot

One more thing : If i was 17, Megan Fox was my girlfriend and i had a 2010 camaro, i would say fuck to college...no way i'm gonna be apart from those babies... :naughty:

I thought it was a lot like Star Trek... but without the quality that make Trek inexplicably enjoyable.

It was very very pretty (Megan Fox and improved CG) but total bollocks (clanging robot gonads).
And that, children, is how the little bunny rabbit got his fluffy white tail.

As a minimum, we must demand from SF that it be wiser than the world it speaks to.

Trek was bollocks, utter bollocks... BUT I didn't get bored once.

I honestly can't remember the last time that happened - and that has to count for something. It was enjoyable in a way that Transformers, for all it's eye candy, just wasn't.

If I still had a watch I would have looked at it quite a few times during Transformers...

EDIT - turns out Trek and Transformers actually have the same writers... :P Good to see they've carved out a niche.

Star Trek (2009) didn't succeed on account of the writing. The script itself is utter garbage and the plot is near incomprehensible. Trek succeeded on account of the strong, entertaining characterizations and pacing the scenes in a relentless, unbroken chain of non-stop exciting action/solid drama/funny comedy that moved too fast for you to care about story.

Transformers also had a near-incomprehensible plot in a trash script, but also suffered from poor characterizations, mediocre pacing and unsuccessful comedy. Only the action worked, leaving you far too much time to ruminate upon the flaws that are boring you the other 50% of the time when something isn't exploding on screen.

Some "primitive" peoples only count up to two.

One. Two.

Who needs more? :P

Fallen is probably the worse movie I've seen in the last two years, it's a fucking mess, and Megan Fox is a fucking std laden hoebag who does nothing for me. Getting tea bagged by robot balls and watching geriatric robots fart does not make a good movie.

I did laugh at the mother.

Funny how outside the city looks like the Mescalero Apache Reservation or outside the Smithsonian looks like Holloman Airforce base, ditto the NEST island, and Egypt looked a lot like White Sands Missile Range :obscene-tolietcrapper:
