Michael Grodner, who apparently produced a stream of shitty dating reality shows, just sent me a message at
My Space about a new film he is making of Barry Maltzberg's
Beyond Apollo. Probably destined for small release. The
homepage is a nightmare to navigate. Ive
reviewed this book before, and Maltzberg wrote one of the best SF
reference books of last year.

Heh. I usually get contacted by authors whose books I review on spec, like Maltzberg's Breakfast in the Ruins. Not so with him. I guess that he did not like it. It was a favorable review, though I did call him "crazy" or something like that.

Dont get me wrong. Im generally OK with people disliking or even hating me. Professional risk as a lawyer, I guess.

The risk of the reviewer, pissing off an author.
