Not sure what this is about, but I love Bruce Willis in SF Films.
Something is about to happen, Hal. Something wonderful!

Did that movie ever come out about people interacting through robots and in VR? A friend OR acquaintance of his gets killed and he actually has to leave his house to find out what happened?

Ah ... this is it! :P

Yes, we discussed this before. I like the writer's comment about the BSG style poster :)

Sounds not as good as Robots of Dawn by Asimov.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Robots_of_Dawn

The people on Aroura interact through "tri-d" and never physically meet, except for sex. Making the murder the agoraphobic cop from Earth has been asked to solve even more unexplainable.

Willis could be a good Elijah Bailey.

He does have the paranoid, sick-of-it-all side of Baley down though.

Saw this last night.

Surprisingly low key. Liked it, but after District 9 and Moon etc it seemed a bit ordinary. It was also a tad predictable.

Not bad by any stretch though. :) (and better than Gamer)

As a minimum, we must demand from SF that it be wiser than the world it speaks to.

(Hey, when was Moon out again? It wasn't playing anywhere I looked while I was in the States, and I guessed it was still too early for the DVD ... didn't see anything at the local Blockbusters ... which may not be there next year... :( )
