In keeping with the theme du weekend of linguistics, here is one of the Elgin stories I have referred to elsewhere. Its pretty good.

Haven't read any of her fiction yet, so this will hopefully be interesting.

I've been a bit leery about reading her since looking into Láadan.... Ultra-femme rhetoric tends to give me hives.
