This doll-house scale miniature book(s) is for decorative or collective purposes and is NOT intended for reading. The 1:12 scale text inside is only decorative and is not legible.

Shakespeare, from 400 year ago, often requires footnotes to read. Chaucer, from 600 years ago, you have to study harder. Beowulf, from 1200 years ago, is practically in a foreign language. To assume that English 4,000 years from now will be the same as today makes no sense whatsoever. same here wit...

yes, "autre" is a derivative from (alter/atra/altrum) which gives also "alternatif" or "alter-ego" but must not be confound with (alienus, a, um) which gives "aliéner" or alien (in english) le Trésor de la Langue Française Informatisée http://atilf.atilf.fr/tl...

Re: Those 28 words for melange...

i follow and agree with your reasoning. unfortunately, poudreuse is then a "borrowed" word. in that case, we said of light snow freshly felt from sky and which looks like powder ( poudre ) while skiing into it , that it is poudreuse . but looking into the dictionary, i discovered what poud...

ok, i guess i see what you mean : the word should be "dedicated" to the designated thing and not "borrowed" from another meaning/things.

It's because too much in that book contradicts what BH & KJA have done. It would not mesh with the crap that they have put out. so was my thoughts too ... indeed article dealing with Jehanne Butler is miles away from the the KJA-BH work. :naughty: ah the DE :violin: so much truth in it
